Swapnachithra - Specialists in Oil Portraits & Paintings

I’m Philip Kurian, a professional artist for the past 37 years. I started my career at the age of 17. After my schooling, I joined the R.L.V. Fine Arts Academy at Cochin. With a much reputed victory from the Academy, I joined the St. Sebastians High School at Kanjoor, as a drawing teacher. My drawing institute, named ‘Swapnachitra’, in meantime flourished into a well established firm in Kerala. I had to take Voluntary retirement from my profession and focus more in my institute. Me and my staffs work day and night to supply oil-paintings (sceneries, portraits, etc) to various clients in and out of India. We work, as per orders. The paintings shown below are oil-paintings done on canvas, under various sizes from ‘75 cm x 50 cm’ to ‘200 cm x 140 cm’.
Finest results in our paintings are achieved using imported canvas and oil-paints. A painting is done by applying three coats of paint, one over the other successively.This gives our paintings unparellel perfection and a long lasting durability which last centuries.
